Adam Mathieson | Composer & Musician

I am a composer and pianist based in Glasgow, UK. My work spans the concert hall, the stage, and the screen, demonstrating versatility in writing for diverse ensembles; from 110-piece orchestras to soloists and fully electronic works. My training at some of the world’s finest conservatoires has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set; I hold a Master’s degree in film scoring from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, featured in the Hollywood Reporter’s list of “The World’s Best Music Schools of 2023, Ranked,” and an Honours degree in Composition from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, recognised among the top performing arts institutions by the QS World University Rankings. I am passionate about creating music that enhances a wide range of projects, bringing a unique and tailored sound to each collaboration.
